AKIRA KUROSAWA: THE HIDDEN FORTRESS

I have been on a Japanese film kick lately, specifically the work of Akira Kurosawa.  I'm blown away by his films.  My favorite so far is The Hidden Fortress from 1958.  It's visually so stunning.  

COLOR

I've been thinking more and more about experimenting with color photography.  I think I'll always have a preference for b&w but lately I'm really drawn to the possibilities of color.  My most recent inspiration comes from the incredibly talented photographer Martin Parr.  I love his series of water damaged photographs from Athens.
